Born, nurtured and groomed In Jute Hub of the world – Kolkata, Lagan, over the years, has grown in stature and is currently a house-hold name among jute mill owners and jute technologists across the globe.
As a part of History, Government of India took over company In 1978 and in yet another move, Lagan was disinvested and now is under the umbrella of largest jute conglomerate in India, having over 6 decades of experience in the Jute Industry and employing over 18,000 workers across 4 jute mills producing 400Mts of Jute Yarns per day.
